School Swag

Today is a beautiful as was yesterday and the day before. The weather has been phenominal. Spring in truly here! I chose this today because it was super simple and it is a popular color for this spring. H&M cardigan, skinny jeans (still a favorite), aqua tank top from Forever 21, my Banana Republic ruffled silk top, and royal blue high top Converse. Don't forget my unicorn necklace also Forever 21. Ready for school! Have a sunshining day!

Shopping Swag

Today, I went to Grand Lux to celebrate my brother's birthday. After the I went shopping and go somethings at forever 21. I wore my coral flowy skirt with my infamous brown boots. My blouse has all the the colors the coordinate with it and I threw on my cream sweater. Boom! Instant outfit.

I just adore these funky shorts. They are colorful, chic, and bring out anyone's skintone. Ross Bennet hit a triple home run with these shorts. All of these are stunning.

Tuesday Swag

Just wanted to share this fantastic dress I discovered surfing the web. I absolutely love this simple little dress! The feminine cut of this dress is soooo girly and sweet, but the best part to me is the surprise in the back. It ties in a knot and give you the illusion of a backout, but not quite as much skin. Sunday Swag...

I wore this yesterday. I had to go shopping for my camping trip this week. I chose this because these pants are super comfortable and it was cold and wet. I put on my ankle boots, a tank top underneath this sheer leopard print top. I love the necklace as the perfect accessory for this look. My lightweight sweater and my lined jacket to keep me insulated. My shopping trip went well and I got everything I needed. More photos in My Style. Enjoy!

Fashion Star

So I have been following the new show Fashion Star. The show is really neat. The designers show what they created and they are critiqued by Nicole Richie, Jessica Simpson, and John Varvatos are the three that share their insight on their designs. then the buyers chime in with their bids on the designs. The buyers are from H&M,  Macy's, and Saks Fifth Avenue. The winning designers that have the highest bids have their designs sold at one of the featured stores the very next day and can also be bought online that night after midnight. Fascinating concept! There were two winners that H&M bought designs from. hey are Sarah Parrott and Nzimiro Oputo. I have posted a photo of this week's winning design by Sarah Parrott. Mid-Term Swag

Storm Swag

It's Saturday and I have a lot to share. The weather has cooled down and it has been raining all day. I chose to wear this colorful scarf and layed a long sleeve t under my green sweater. I put on my distressed dark denim jeans that have a slight flare to them. I slipped on my trusty low top Chucks (Converse) and was ready to go to piano. I hope you like this outfit! More photos in My Style. I also want to share some info and photos from Style Fashion Week Event my mom attended this week. On Wednesday they featured designs by Skingraft, Madison Park Collective, and Mila (Project Runway all Stars). The show was fabulous she said. On Friday, she saw a celebrity fashion show hosted by Taylor of Housewives of Beverly Hills. It was a benefit fashion show for Go Red For Women, Love Your Heart by the American Heart Association. The celebrities modeled red fashions by various designers and they were fantastic. There were vendors there as well. Dreams by Neihule' had a booth where they gave free manicures and showed their collection of polish. They also have a full service salon and gave out $25.00 gift cards. Luna also had a booth. they gave out samples of their whole nutrition bars. The chocolate peppermint stick flavor is my favorite. Brunch Butler, Shoe Dazzle, Le Posh Salon Spa Lounge, Herb Ritts LA Style, VnC served beverages, and a company (whose name my mom didn't catch their name) show off their funky phone accessories line. School Swag-A Day Behind

A teens life is so busy. I am a day behind. this is what I wore on Monday. I just love this top! my mom found it in the garment district. I've worn this top before in another post. Here is another look with the same top. It's one of  all time favs in my closet. It has the colors I love in feather details to give it that southwestern/aztec look. It's kinda slouchy so I wore a tank underneath. I am wearing stonewashed dark gray jeans, my oatmeal colored sweater, and comfy new espadrilles in red/multi striped. More photos in My Style!

School Swag-Hump Day

I can't believe how remarkable our weather has been the past few weeks. This past weekend it was in the 80's. It started cooling down Monday and Tuesday. Hump day and it's warming up again and we will be back in the 80's by tomorrow. Cali love is what I feel. I LOVE L.A.! Today I wanted to wear something with a lot of color. I chose a simple taupe tank and layed it with this multi-colored mesh-like top. I added this bright coral sweater to give it that pop. My skinny jeans and brown low boots completed my outfit. School Swag

It's Monday once again and the weather is warm in the City of Angels. I haven't posted in about a week because I have been so busy with school and other activities...in other words a really busy week.  I had to do a quick dress this morning and this is what I came up with. Lemon yellow silk blouse with ruffle details in the front from Banana Republic (I wore in another post). I put on some skinny jeans from F21, beige ballet slippers, and my oatmeal colored sweater. This morning I really didn't want to think about what I was going to wear. Although my school style is casual and comfortable because my school has a dress code, and I have such a busy school schedule with all the extra curricular activities at my school, I really can't wear what I want.  So this morning, I something I did not have to iron and put this on.  I hope you like this. Today is Friday, and the last several days have been so lay back. I enjoyed three days off this week (no school) and returned yesterday. Needed to catch up on some things. Anyway, I am back with a post today. I am wearing a multi colored floral top with ruffle details, that was gifted to me by mom. Skinny jeans, my newest sweater in turquoise, and canvass slip-ons that I just adore. If you closer.....you can see that I wore the shoes so much that the left big toe managed to work it's way through the canvass and mom and I did a DIY repair using an echo friendly patch. I am not ready to retire this pair yet. I hope you like this.  Happy friday everyone! MUAH!

Back To School Swag!

Hey, so I am going back to school after being sick for about 3 days! Missed the besties sooo much! I choose to wear a mustard yellow sweater with a cream cardigan and two unicron necklaces. Saturday Swag

Overcast and really chilly this morning. I guess Mother Nature remembered it's suppose to be six more weeks of winter since the Groundhog saw his shadow. As you can probably tell, I am ready for Spring. I love this turquoise sweater (Express) mom just bought me. It's a great color for spring. I put on a hot pink ribbed tank (JCPenney) underneath, added some black riding pants, multi-colored argyle and polka dot socks, and finally the finishing touches........my black sequined Old Navy boots to brighten the cloudy day! TGIF! Happy Friday everyone! The weather is still a little warm today. I chose a little dress that looks like a jumper. It's a peachy pink color, with blue flowers and ruffles around the sleeves (Forever 21). I put my trusted blue low top Chucks (JCPenney) on, and a crop denim jacket (not sure wear mom bought this) to hold off the morning chill. Check out more photos on the LGS My Style page. As for todays weather forcast....mid 80's. Just can't beat the weather in L.A. I chose distressed, long denim shorts for starters. I layered again today. A black tank top (Forever 21), multi-colored floral flowing tank with distressed lace trim (not sure wear mom bought this), and a red sweater (from a little boutique my mom introduced to me) to add a pop of color. Wooo Hooooo! It's Hump Day, the rain is gone and the sun is shining! It's still a little cool out today, but I anticipate the weather to get a bit warmer. So I decided on a grey tank top(Forever 21), and a purple off the shoulder sweatshirt to lay on top. I added super skinnies(Old Navy), my blue low top Converse, and a borrowed scarf from Mom. Another school day and it's overcast and expected to rain today. Just coming off warm weekend weather, I still wanted to wear something light weight. I layered a ruffled hem tank with my sheer multi-colored top with flared sleeves. I added my super skinnies, my black Chucks, and for added warmth my motorcycle jacket. School day and I was unsure what to wear today. I really wanted to wear a new blouse my mom found at one of my favorite resell boutiques. I had to put this together at the last minute. I hope you all like it. Yellow sheer blouse with ruffled details and a peek-a-boo opening, complete with a thin tie closure. I paired it with dingy dark denim and my infamous black Chucks. Grove Swag!

When I came back home from the recital, I was leaving to go to the grove to get my other iPad. So I Threw on a lace-accented purple knit shirt and a brown and purple hoodie. Recital Swag

Yesterday was my piano recital. Performers were asked to wear black on the bottom and white on top. I chose this ensemble for the recital. White button down short sleeved blouse with ruffles cascading down the buttons and button detail on the sleeves. I added a black flowing mini to feel less constricted. I topped it all of with a little swag by adding black fishnet pantyhose and my worn vintage Chucks! Viola! And I am on my way to play the piano.
